Listening to electronic dance music since 1998, DJ since 2005. In all these years I learned one thing, sharing your favorite music with others is a good feeling, but to be able to make others dance to your favorite music is priceless... I always say "share the music, share the joy" I also feel that way to the heart. Most of time time, I find myself spending hours and hours near my turntables trying to reach more people with my sound. How can I reach more people? How can I share my sound with more people so they can enjoy these beautiful tunes with me? How can I improve? These are the questions I ask myself every day and night. Those were the common elements that made me establish this website and various groups in various online channels. I once had a online radio too, but it became too expensive over time, now I just upload my sets. I learned and started DJ'ing on digital turntables called CDJ's and I know how to use most of the digital turntables available today (especially Pioneer's). I personally own 2 Pioneer CDJ-200 Digital Turntables and a Pioneer DJM-400 Digital Mixer. I use these equipments to record my mix sets, If no turntable is available at the moment, I use Pioneer DJS software. I have a large archive of trance/progressive house tunes from all years. I don't seperate tracks as old or new, a good track is always a good track and should be played at all times, it should not be thrown away because it's old. I am not heavily against commercial music but I heavily think that DJ's must have a unique sound at some point otherwise there would be no element what makes you, "you" and makes you different from others. I bought all the tracks in my entire archive, not even single one of them is downloaded via p2p programs. In this way I maintain two important factors, the quality of the sound file and the selectiveness. Making yourself buy tracks makes you more selective since you can't buy all the tracks (well, there may be people who can afford that too but I can't) I think that downloading a track without paying is disrespect to the producer and it's unethical. I don't like people who just downloads their entire library for free and brag like "I have more than 5000 tracks in my library". Well, you may have 5000 tracks but where is your dignity? ethic and selectiveness? Even if I don't become a pro, I am going to continue DJ'ing and sharing my sound and joy with others in the future, as long as I'm not too old of course :) For more information, inquiries and recomendations, you can always e-mail by using the e-mail button at the menu bar. I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. |
